Glenn Cormier is the founding member of the Cormier Law Firm. Prior to founding the Firm, Glenn served in executive management and as in-house counsel to both private and public companies where he held numerous positions including General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and Director. Prior to going in-house, Glenn was in private practice focusing on the litigation of commercial matters and bankruptcy. Glenn received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, and his B.S. in Business Management from Providence College. Glenn is a veteran of the United States Army where he served as an Infantryman and a Recruiter and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant.

Glenn’s philosophy is that while it is true on rare occasions that the initial legal answer is “no”, it is even rarer when there is no alternate path that complies with the law and makes good business sense. Finding that path takes knowledge, experience, creativity, and an openness to ideas (both legal and business) and, perhaps most importantly, a team approach. With this in mind, Glenn founded the Firm to provide efficient and pragmatic counsel to assist clients in recognizing, reducing, and mitigating business and legal risk, always with an eye on growth.
